About this role
Our backend team is responsible for the APIs and microservices that power all TechNova products. As a Backend Engineer, you will design, build, and operate distributed systems at scale. We embrace a culture of ownership — you build it, you run it.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional Go development experience
- Experience designing and building RESTful or gRPC APIs
- Familiarity with distributed systems concepts (CAP theorem, eventual consistency)
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance microservices in Go
- Design API contracts in collaboration with frontend and partner teams
- Optimise database queries and ensure system reliability
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
- Write clear documentation and runbooks for your systems
